Willamette Valley Down Syndrome Association

The WVDSA is made up of loving and caring parents, families and friends of children with Down syndrome who want to ensure that our children have everything they need to reach their full potential.  Personal experience demonstrates the need to create our own opportunities for children and families impacted by Down syndrome in our area.  In response to this need, we founded The Willamette Valley Down Syndrome Association (WVDSA) in September 1998.

The WVDSA is affiliated with the National Down Syndrome Society (www.ndss.com) whose mission is to provide nationwide education, research and advocacy for Down syndrome.  The following volunteers represent the initial founding team; however, we encourage everyone interested in furthering our mission to participate.
