Spotlight: Megan Moore

Megan Moore is a fun loving, kind and generous young lady.  She has a special ability to reach out to people to show her love and compassion.  She is especially close to her family and she is the world’s best Auntie to her nephew and nieces.  Megan has a group of close friends that she has known since elementary school.  They enjoy going to movies, hanging out, playing board games, and bowling.

Megan’s sense of humor is heartwarming and her memory for names, dates and events is uncanny.  She is a huge Disney fan, a music lover and an artist.  Megan enjoyed a watercolor class at LBCC this year and creates beautiful pieces of art that she shares with family and friends.  She is a party planner extraordinaire and is talented in choosing a menu and activities that correspond with her theme.  Megan loves being the hostess!

Megan recently realized her hard earned dream of living in her own home. She loves the independence and responsibility that this gives her.  She helped design and decorate her home in her signature color, pink!  Megan is extremely organized, does her own cooking, cleaning, laundry and she takes great care of her pet fish, Georgia Starlight.  She is supported by her family and a talented personal assistant that her parents hired through the local county developmental diversity program.

Megan enjoys days filled with a workout regime, community and ARC activities, classes, volunteering in her community and church, reading, doing artwork, watching her favorite TV shows and spending time with family and friends.  Megan brings joy to the world and we love her!
